FAQ
Who is PrayerPop made for?
PrayerPop is made for churches, ministries, and Christian organizations that want a clear way to receive prayer requests, collect testimonies, and help their community pray together through their website.
It is especially useful when prayer requests are currently scattered across emails, messages, paper cards, or different team members.
Do I need WordPress to use PrayerPop?
Yes. PrayerPop is currently built as a WordPress plugin.
It is designed for churches that already use WordPress, including sites built with Divi. You can place PrayerPop on pages using shortcodes, WordPress blocks, Classic Editor, or Divi modules.
Does PrayerPop support Divi builder?
Yes. PrayerPop includes Divi support, so you can add forms, submissions, and the PrayerPop bubble using Divi modules.
You can also use PrayerPop shortcodes inside a Divi Code module.
What can people submit through PrayerPop?
People can submit prayer requests and testimonies.
Prayer requests can be public or private, depending on how your church wants to use the tool. Testimonies can be collected and displayed as approved public stories of answered prayer.
Does PrayerPop include a public prayer wall?
Yes. PrayerPop can display approved public prayer requests and testimonies on your website.
You can show them in grid or list view, display recent items, show the latest request, or show a custom number of approved submissions.
How does AI moderation work?
AI moderation is optional.
When enabled, AI checks public submissions and can approve them, decline them, or send them to manual review. Your team can still change every AI decision.
Private submissions are not handled by AI moderation and stay in your normal internal workflow.
Do I need an OpenAI API key?
Yes, if you want to use AI moderation.
PrayerPop works without AI moderation, but AI features require your own OpenAI API key. You can also set spending limits in OpenAI to keep costs predictable.
Does AI publish requests automatically?
Only if you enable AI moderation and allow auto approval. This can save a lot of time for your church secretary or prayer team, and a short setup guide is included inside the plugin.
Even then, your team stays in control. You can review AI decisions, change the status manually, or use stricter moderation settings if you want more submissions to stay pending for human review.
Can we print or email prayer requests to our prayer team?
Yes. PrayerPop supports both bulk actions and email notifications.
From the admin workflow, you can print selected submissions or send selected submissions by email, which is useful for prayer meetings, team follow-up, or offline ministry workflows.
You can also set a notification recipient and choose a schedule for automatic emails — immediate, daily, or weekly. The email subject and body can also be customized, and you can send a test email before going live.
Can users remove their own prayer request?
At the moment PrayerPop focuses on admin controlled review, approval, archiving, and deletion inside WordPress.
“If someone wants a request removed, your church team can remove or archive it from WordPress admin.”
Can we change the wording? (translation / text customization)
Yes. PrayerPop includes translation and text customization right in the settings.
You can rewrite visible form labels, messages, headings, and other user facing text. You can also export and import text settings as JSON, which is helpful for backup or translation work.
Does localhost use a license seat?
No. Local development environments do not consume a paid production activation seat by default.
Real client domains and subdomains are treated as production activations unless your license rules say otherwise.
Can we get refunds?
Yes, refunds may be available within 14 days after purchase if a confirmed technical issue prevents normal use of PrayerPop and we are unable to resolve it after reasonable troubleshooting.
To request a refund, contact us at info@osain.ee with your order email, order number, website URL, and a short description of the issue.
Refunds are not usually granted for change of mind, unsupported WordPress setups, third party plugin conflicts, hosting restrictions, custom code issues, or refused troubleshooting steps.
